Ganderbal village urge authorities to install electric transformer | KNO

Ganderbal, Apr 27 (KNO): Residents of Gujjar Basti Awan Mohalla of Pethpora Chattergul village in Ganderbal on Saturday complained that the electric transformer often develops fault urging Power development department to install high capacity transformer. They told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the transformer is unable to bear the load and gets damaged frequently. A local resident of Awan Mohalla of Chattergul village told KNO that due to the increase of households and electricity connections, the demand for electricity has also increased in their neighbourhood. “On a monthly basis, we are collecting the money and are repairing this transformer and it is not possible that this repair may continue forever,” he said. The residents urged for immediate redressal of the issue. They also appealed DC Ganderbal to look into the matter—(KNO)
